Meet Sadaf Chaudhary, who secured AIR 23 in UPSC 2020 by studying at home

They say that those who work hard never lose. Sadaf Chaudhary of Mohitpur village in Roorkee, who has secured all India rank 23 in UPSC, is a perfect example of the same.

Sadaf lives in Green Park Colony in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. Her family has been elated ever since the UPSC results were declared on Friday (September 24). Sadaf tasted success after two years of hard work and diligence. She completed her BTech from NIC Jalandhar and then prepared for the UPSC CSE exams at home.

After Sadaf secured 23rd rank in the UPSC examination and friends and family haven’t stopped the congratulatory messages. She has brought glory to the entire family by becoming an IAS officer.

Sadaf’s father Mohammad Israr is a manager at the Prathama UP Gramin Bank in Deoband’s Nagal Branch. Apart from her father, the other family members are mother Shahbaz Bano, sister Saima and brother Mohammad Saad.

Sadaf gives full credit to her family for helping her clear one of the most coveted exams in the country. Sadaf attributes this success to the love, trust and sacrifice of her parents. She said that she achieved this milestone with great hard work and dedication.
