If you go with a better strategy in the UPSC exams, your chances of success increase manifold. Today, we will talk about IAS officer Swati Sharma, who carefully chose an optional subject and devised a special strategy for it. Her dream of becoming an IAS officer was fulfilled in the fourth attempt due to her better strategy. Swati secured AIR 17 in UPSC 2019.
Swati Sharma believes that if you want to achieve success in UPSC, you have to prepare by being motivated. Also, the idea of giving up preparation should never come to mind when you fail. According to her, three things are most important for UPSC – right guidance, right resource and better strategy. The one who follows all three gets success in the civil service.Â
Swati believes that you should prepare for pre and mains exams separately. This will enable you to focus on both exams in a better way. Swati, however, says that every candidate has his/her own potential. If someone thinks he can prepare for both the exams together, there is nothing wrong with that either. You can create and implement strategies at your convenience.
Swati believes that you keep yourself calm during the UPSC preparation and focus on the goal. According to her, if you are mentally fit, you will be able to perform better in UPSC. Swati says it is very important to keep yourself motivated. If you work consistently with a better strategy in the right direction, you will definitely get success.
